Scientifically known as "foeniculum vulgare", fennel is an aromatic plant from the carrot family, used for both medicinal and culinary purposes. My favorite way to use fennel seeds is by soaking it into a tea, and it's a remedy I've brough with me for many years, especially when I'm out traveling. It's my go to herb for a upset and bloated stomach, which tends to happen when out exploring.
