Greens + maca

Green smoothies is a great way to incorporate tremendous amounts of greens into your diet, and if you're disgusted by the green color, which I just find beautiful, give it a go anyway. With the right ingredients and amounts you can create the most vibrant and fresh tasting smoothies there is. 

Blend 1 frozen organic banana, a handful mango and/or pineapple, a handful organic spinach, 1/2 a avocado, 1 small piece of ginger and applejuice and water to blend. I also usually boosts mine with Maca powder, which is a vegetable believed to help increase energy and promote vitality and hormonal balance. Maca provides a powerful amount of vitamins and minerals and is considered an adaptogen, facilitating the body's ability to adapt to and regulate stress responses.
